We chose uPVC to replace the wooden French Doors from kitchen to patio, and for a couple of rear/side windows, recognising that anyone taking over our house would gut it.
Alaskan (a family firm) quoted a good price, installed quickly and equally quickly (the MD himself + installer) came to make minor adjustments. That’s good service. Double glazed, weather sealed, reasonably secure.

We used Malbrook – they’re not the cheapest but their work is excellent quality – I’ve spoken to other people who had Malbrook conservatories put in a decade ago and they say it’s still in perfect condition.

We had all our windows replaced by SPS to double glazing. The windows are beautiful, the paint is guaranteed 7-10 years. They were done 5 years ago and still immaculate. It has made a huge difference in warmth/insolation in our house. Company very pro and their gutters were great. Highly recommend but you have to seriously break the piggy bank!
